Clyde Richard Husk's Obituary
Mr. Clyde Richard Husk was born on July 13, 1928, in Cohasset, Massachusetts and passed away April 21, 2017, in Garland, Texas. He graduated in 1960 from the University of Ohio in Athens, Ohio with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He also graduated in 1976 from John Marshal Law School in Atlanta, Georgia with a Doctorate of Juris Prudence in Law. Clyde Husk loved to travel overseas doing civil engineering work. In fact, he was the project manager for the construction of the Seventh Runway of DFW International airport.He always enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching National Geographic History Channel. Most of all, Clyde enjoyed going to church fulfilling his duty as a member of the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo). Clyde is survived by his wife, Mrs. Susan Husk; sister Joanie Sheets of Huntington, Virginia; daughter Sandra Husk-Hinson and husband Charles Hinson of San Diego, California; sons, Steven and spouse Tammy Husk,Tim and spouse Nancy Husk of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren Andrew Husk, Jeremy and spouse Diana Husk, and Zachary and spouse Kelly Husk of Atlanta, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Friday at 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. A graveside service will be held on April 29, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Whispering Waters Mausoleum, Restland Memorial Park located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. “I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8 NKJV
