Clyva Mae Carson's Obituary
Carson, Clyva Mae was born in Forth Wort on December 14, 1918 and moved to Dallas in 1928. Clyva graduated from Oak Cliff High School in 1935 (now Adamson) and from SMU in 1960. She worked in business 20 years and taught in DISD for 28 years. After retirement Clyva went to work at North Dallas Shared Ministries as a volunteer for 15 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, W.B. Carson; son, Thomas Neil Carson; and brothers, Dr. William P. Huckabee and Monte E. Huckabee. Clyva was a member of Walnut Hill United Methodist Church. Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to North Dallas Shared Ministries, 2875 Merrell Rd. Dallas 75229.
