Cody Lane Raemhild's Obituary
IN LOVING MEMORY Cody Lane (Seabourn) Raemhild February 2, 1999 – March 14, 2016 Cody Lane was born as Cody Lane Seabourn on 2/2/1999 in Dallas, Texas. He is survived by: his mother Holli Candice Raemhild, his biological father Steven Seabourn, his dad Timothi Adam Raemhild, his only sibling and older sister Kassidy Jane Seabourn, his grandmother Frances West, his grand father Steve West, aunts Heather Shivers, Angie Ellis, his very loved cousins Mindy, Tiffany, Brittany, Adrian Cuiksa, and Candice White. Cody was always a loving, kind hearted but troubled kid. The doctors tried to treat him but none of them ever did. At times he would be the most caring heart you would ever know. At other times his rage would spillover-effecting people we all know. The trigger that caused this tragedy is unclear. Depression kills tens of thousands of people each and every year. Cody was predominately raised in Richardson Texas, and died in Denison Texas 3/14/2016. He played football for years in middle school and even performed his last official Championship game at the old Cowboys Stadium just before it was torn down. Cody was such a good tackler his own teammates didn’t want to go against him. He loved video games, biking, skating, music, the Internet, fast cars, movies, smoking and girls. Cody was very loyal to both family and friends alike. But if you messed with his family it was on like a light. He would check up on elderly neighbors, play with young children and generally do well unto others. Then there was the other side of Cody that loved to fight, loved Mixed Martial Arts, and HATED “THE SYSTEM” with knowledge and wisdom. Cody would like you to know his work is done here. He is at peace with our Savior, which is abundantly clear. He lived his life loving his mother, dad, sister, grandparents, aunts, cousins, and friends. The loss of his life makes everyone who he encountered very distressed. People feel lost, and angry and mad. Cody was only 17 years old and this tragedy is very sad. He would like to thank you for helping his family in this time of distress with both your moral and financial support. The family thanks you for more of the same and for sharing stories, photos and tears. Thank you to all who have prayed, cared, and shared! May you have peace. Cody’s family will receive friends on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 6- 8 PM at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 3 PM at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home.
