I’m only just learning of Colby’s passing and am so very sorry for his loved ones and friends.
My parents took me to Colby when I was 11 or so for my first hair straightening experience and the poor guy then became stuck doing boring versions of The Rachel on me for years until he moved from Dallas for a period of time!
On one occasion, I fell asleep in his chair while he was blow drying my hair and he had a field day using the brush to move my head around while my step mom watched and laughed. I of course didn’t wake up until all was finished and I got to hear about how heavy of a napper I am! It’s something we still talk and laugh about as a family.
I’m grateful to have known Colby, and I know he probably brought the same laughter to hundreds of other people.
