Colin Andrew Lee Morris' Obituary
Colin Morris, 61, of Garland died Monday July6 28, 2025 in his home. He was born December 13, 1963, In Galesburg Illinois the son of Robert and Lilan (Langley) Morris. He married Sandra (Gray) Morris on October 28, 1988, in Garland, Texas. He is survived by his wife Sandra, four brothers Kenneth Morris, Robert Kevin Morris, Timothy Morris, and Matthew Morris, and two sisters, Joanne Palmgren and Dorenn Bridges. He was preceded by death by his parents Robert and Lilan Morris, and sister Sonia Amborsek.
He spent his youth in Galesburg, Illinois, then moved to Texas. He was a dedicated employee at Stewart Systems for 40 years and 8 months, as a Production Control Clerk. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and motorcycles, but especially enjoyed time with his family and friends. His compassion and kindness was his legacy.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm Thursday, August 7,2025 at Restland Funeral Home.
Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm
Celebration of Life will be later that evening from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at American Legion post 504, 130 E. Main St. Mesquite, TX 75149.
Graveside Memorial will be on Friday August 8,2025 at 2:00 PM at McDonald Cemetery 12649 TX- 110, New Summerfield, TX 75780
