Comella D. Liles' Obituary
Comella D. Liles, age 91, of Dallas, Texas, died May 9, 2010, in DeSoto. She was born June 14, 1918, in Savannah, Tennessee, to Andy B. and Eva Mae (Lawson) DeLozier. She grew up in Franklin County, Mississippi where she attended schools. She married Joseph W. Liles on July 15, 1945, in Natchez, Mississippi. She worked at the Veteran’s Hospital in Dallas for 39 years, 8 months until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of The Oaks Baptist Church, Grand Prairie, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph W. Liles, one sister: Glistura DeLozier, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. , at The Oaks Baptist Church, 801 East Interstate 20, Grand Prairie, Texas, with Dr. William H. White and Pastor Heath Marrion, officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 8:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
