Conni Elaine Godbey was born on August 25th, 1981, in Dallas, Texas. She passed away on June 22nd, 2025, in Rowlett, Texas, at the age of 43. Her passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of all the people that knew her.
A devoted and loving mother, Conni lived every day for her daughter Faith Godbey, who was the center of her world and the light of her life. Her nurturing spirit, unwavering support, and boundless love shaped every moment they shared together. Her daughter was her greatest joy, and she made sure she felt seen, supported, and deeply cherished every single day. Her bond with her daughter is the kind of love that never fades.
Conni had an extraordinary passion for her work and took great pride in what she did. She was deeply connected to her colleagues, whom she considered more than just coworkers; they were like family. Her dedication, warmth, and professionalism left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Animals held a special place in Conni’s heart, and she shared a particularly strong bond with her beloved dog Harley, who was her constant companion and source of comfort and joy.
She is survived by her cherished daughter Faith Godbey, her devoted mother Sheri Daniels, her loving father Alan Daniels (Cheryl Willingham), her dear brother Chad (Jaclyn) Daniels, and her nephew Easton Daniels, as well as many close aunts, uncles and cousins. Her kindness, strength, and vibrant spirit will be remembered always.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday July 2nd at Restland Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A service will be held on Thursday July 3rd at 2:00pm at Restland Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel.
She will be deeply missed, but her love, laughter, and light will live on in all those who were blessed to know her.
