Constance Lee Strow's Obituary
Constance Lee Dolph Strow was born in Dallas on March 7 1928 to Constance Marie Covell and George Ernest Dolph. She passed peacefully from this world on March 22, 2019 after suffering a stroke on March 12. She graduated from SMU in 1948 and maintained lifeling friendships with her Tri Delta sorority sisters. Connie loved playing bridge, bowling, tennis, and watching the Texas Rangers. She was the secretary at First United Lutheran Church for over 25 years and enjoyed volunteering at the Highland Park United Methodist Church library. Connie was preceded in death by husbands Henry Amlin and Robert Strow. She is survived by Martin Amlin, Nancy and Cy Watson, Bebe and Robert Triplett, and Cassie McCampbell. A memorial service will be held at The Point at CC Young, 4847 W. Lawther Drive on Saturday, March 30 at 2:00 pm. Donations may be made to SMU’s Robert W. and Constance D. Strow Math Scholarship Fund the CC Young Employee Scholarship Program, or the charity of your choice.
