Constance Marie Williams' Obituary
Constance Marie Williams, affectionately known as “Connie” was born December 13, 1948, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the union of the late Katherine Delores Bolden and Carroll Nathan Williams and was a resident of Marrero, Louisiana where most of her fond life memories were made with her family. After retirement, she moved to Dallas, Texas with her daughter and grandchildren. She peacefully entered into God’s heavenly kingdom on Wednesday April 23, 2025, in Plano, Texas at the age of 76.
She was a proud graduate of St. Mary’s Academy High School and received her Bachelor's Degree in education from Xavier University of New Orleans. Constance went on to flourish in her career of being an educator for the Orleans Parish Public School System until her retirement in 2005 with over 30 years of educating youth. She was also a childcare provider for many years once retired, especially to her grandchildren that she loved so dearly.
Constance accepted Christ into her heart and was baptized at an early at St. Joseph Baptist Church in Marrero, Louisiana where she and her family were dutiful members of the church. She later became a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with her daughter, Lindsay.
She leaves behind to cherish her fondest memories, her daughter Lindsay Elodie Williams (Christopher, Sr.), her beloved grandsons, Jahmell Nathan Joseph, Elijah Deshaune Joseph, Christopher Nicholas Criddle, Jr., and Kyrie Dee Criddle. Her longtime friend, Masoud Moshgin. Her beautiful sisters Evelyn Richardson Glenn and Althea Williams Roussell and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Patricia Elaine Williams Thompson and Theresa Yvonne Williams Coleman.
