Cordella Eubanks' Obituary
Cordella Ruth (Wells) Eubanks, a native Texan, was born December 31, 1927 in Breckenridge, TX to Jim Wells and Neppie (Coleman) Wells. She was an only child. On December 29, 1949 she married the love of her life, Kenneth King Eubanks. Not long after their marriage they bought their family home in Plano, TX where they raised their son, David and have since spent their retirement years. Cordella was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a passion for the game of Bridge and has played for fun and in tournament play with the same group of lady friends for over 50 years. Cordella passed away on September 5, 2011. She is survived by Kenneth, her loving husband of 61 years, her son David, daughter-in-law, Patty, and grandson, Dylan; her brother-in-law Rex Eubanks and wife, Jodelle. She is preceded in death by her parents. It was Cordella’s wish that there be no funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers you may donate to the Susan G. Komen foundation for breat cancer awareness. Kenneth has moved to an assisted living apartment at 711 Matador Lane #113 in Mesquite, TX 75149.
