Coye Lee Nelson's Obituary
"All Love is a Sacrifice."
Coye Lee Nelson was born on May 7, 1933, to Jimmie Dee (Stokes) and Robert Lee Jones in Lone Oak, Texas. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1950 and attended college classes at East Texas State University.
She married the love of her life, Gerald (Jerry) in 1952. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Nona and husband. Coye leaves behind her son, Edward; daughter Nolie; son-in-law Rick; daughter-in-law Linda; grandchildren Geoffrey, Erich, Kathryn, Christopher, Estella and great grandson, Eli in addition to a number of cousins and a multitude of dear friends. Throughout her life, Coye loved her Lord Jesus with all of her heart and shared her spiritual faith with others as a gifted writer. Coye was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was a homemaker, and she was also very proud of earning her Real Estate Broker's License which she maintained for more than thirty years.
All who knew Coye remember her as a beautiful and loving person that always brought out the best in others.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or Visiting Nurses Association.
Visitation and viewing are scheduled on Saturday, October 28th at 1:00 at Restland. Memorial Service will follow at 2 o'clock in Restland's Wildwood Chapel.
