Craig Robert Stricker's Obituary
STRICKER, CRAIG ROBERT age 71, of Bluffton, SC, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Hardeeville, SC. He was born on November 28, 1941 in Moriah, NY to his parents, Martin and Violet Stricker. He married Nelva Gray in Dallas, Texas on September 21, 1974 at Perkins Chapel. He was employed by Dresser Industries as a Corporate Pilot for 30 years. Craig was a member of the Methodist church. He enjoyed flying planes and received his pilot license at the age of 14. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, playing tennis, and was an avid runner, running 10 miles per day. He also participated in marathons. Craig was a member of the Quiet Birdman Organization for over 50 years. Craig will be remembered by his loving wife, Nelva of 38 years. He is also survived by son, Kurt Stricker and his wife, Nila; sister -In-law, Karan Jasper; and his 4 grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter, Amy Smith and his parents. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21,2013 at Restland Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral for Craig at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
