Cunduan Zhang's Obituary
Cunduan Zhang, beloved father, grandfather and friend, passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 93 in Dallas Texas. He was a professor emeritus in English Literature in Shanghai Normal University, and a lover of languages - speaking Chinese, English, and two other languages.
He was a devout Christian, an active member of the Dallas Chinese Bible Church. He always said that finding Jesus was the biggest life changing experience for him.
With his gentle personality and Christian faith, he spent his time and his language skills, helping other Chinese seniors around him in Silver Gardens Senior Apartments in Dallas. He has many friends who love him back in the same way.
Cunduan was pre-deceased in death by his beloved wife, Daomin and brother Cunzheng. He is the best father to his children and best grandpa to his two grand daughters. He is survived by his daughter Jiahui and her husband Brian, his son Jiayi and his wife Emma, granddaughters Andrea and Rachael, and his many nieces and nephews.
