Curtis Beauford Campbell's Obituary
Curtis Campbell was born on January 8, 1924 in Dallas, Texas and died December 22, 2015. He graduated from North Dallas High School in 1942. He obtained a B.B. A degree in accounting from S.M.U. in 1949. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1942. He graduated from Navigation School in 1944. He served in the Air Force in World War II and the Korean War. He retired as a Lt. Col. with over 27 years of active and reserve service. He retired from China Lake National Weapons Center as a GS 13 Management Advisor in 1986 after 25 years as a Navy Department Civil Service employee. He was a Deacon with two Baptist Churches in California and Highland Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. He was a member of Leagueville Baptist Church. Survivors include wife Doris Jean Campbell, daughters, Candy Campbell and Karen Fager, grandson, Dustin Fager, granddaughters, Kim Rubin, ans Melissa Fager, great granddaughters, Brandy and Kayla Rubin, Katelyn and Austin Sheffield, Madison Fager, stepson Gary, and stepdaughters Dana, Diane, and families. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 12:00 PM at the Restland Abbey Chapel. Service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Restland Abbey Chapel.
