Cynthia Jean Hernandez's Obituary
Early on the morning of May 20, 2022, at the age of 62 Cynthia (Cyndi) Jean Hernandez passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus. Cyndi was born on Sunday November 15, 1959, in Dallas to Nicolas (Nick) Hernandez and Josephine (Josie) Medina. Cyndi was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Josie Hernandez, a brother, Tom as well as her grandparents. She is survived by a brother Matthew (Karen) Hernandez, a sister Jeanette (Perry) Plummer, sister-in-law Melissa Holamon-Hernandez, nephews Charley Westmoreland, Nicolas (Nick) Hernandez, nieces Amanda Hodges, Amy (Thomas) Adler, Katie Holamon, Chelsea (Nathan) Bedard, Hannah Holamon, Ashley Hernandez, Alison Hernandez. And great nephews and great nieces Emma Carter, Joshua Carter, Geovany (Geo) Hernandez, Jayce Westmoreland, Nathaniel Bedard, Jonah Bedard and Cora Adler.
She was greeted by her mom, dad, brother Tom and many other relatives and friends who've passed before her. What a glorious celebration they had. What a wonderful journey she had in her short time on this earth. She lived a life with great love for the Lord and her family. Always sharing her smile, her love for the Lord, and whatever she had for anyone in need along with many memories and wonderful loving stories. She showered her nephews and nieces with love like no other. Always saying goodnight to them each day. We had many adventures, laughs and sometimes tears but always ended each conversation, text or call with 'I love you'. I'll miss our daily talks, texts and hugs but I know her smile is lighting up heaven in her new pain-free body. Oh, what joy she has at this moment. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all those that knew and loved her. Love you Cyndi...until we see you again.
Services for Cynthia will be held at the Meadowview Church of Christ in Mesquite, Texas, on Wednesday, May 25 at 10am. Her Visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 24, from 6 to 8pm.
