A bit of the air we breathe, that light, joyous, refreshing air that comes with Spring's first blooms or autumn's final glorious days, has been extinguished from this earth with the passing of Cindy. Who can forget her giggle, her sense of fairness, her loyal and caring spirit, her inexhaustible exuberance for life? Though I had not seen her much during our adult lives, nothing could ever break the bond that we shared as childhood friends–a group of old Planoites that took our first steps together and skipped and danced throughout our growing years, shoulder-to-shoulder and arm-in-arm. At our reunions, scattered though they were, Cindy's eyes would always shine when seeing old friends. And in an instant, she would have you laughing and recalling days gone by. Today, I will walk out into nature, look at the sky, and give thanks that a woman like Cindy was not only part of my life but part of that of my family, our friends and this world. Paul, "Shug", "Boogs" and Buddy and Et hel too, wherever you are, you are in my thoughts and in my prayers.
