Cynthia Ann Long's Obituary
LONG, CYNTHIA ANN Our dear angel Cindy went to be with the Lord on Dec. 2, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 20, 1961 in Oakland, CA and raised in McAllen, TX. She attended Texas Tech University where she met the love of her life, Paul. After their marriage in 1982, they moved to Richardson, TX and started their family. Cindy loved God, family, friends, and pets and will be gloriously remembered by all as the nicest, most caring and sweetest person. She is survived by her parents, Dave and Helen Fitz of Cedar Park, TX, her husband Paul and sons Chris and Cory of Richardson, TX and her sister Karen Jefferies of Indianapolis, IN. She loved working for UTD in the Space Science department for the last 12 years. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 Monday, Dec. 9th at First Presbyterian Church of Richardson. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society to honor Cindy.
