Daisy Lee Stafford's Obituary
Daisy Lee Stafford died on November 27th at Southwest Medical Center in Dallas. Daisy Lee was a 76 year old, non- denominational Christian. Active in her own community and known in the South Dallas neighborhood where she helped run her local grocery store, “Stafford Foods”, Daisy Lee was known for her passion and perseverance. Daisy Lee was preceded in death by her mother and father, Hazel and James Booth Thornhill, her brother, Harold Thornhill, her sisters, Carmen Springer, Eloise Eliott and Hilda Freeman. and her son, James Stafford. Daisy Lee was survived by her husband, Parker Stafford Sr., her four sons, Parker Stafford, Jr., Sam Mitchell, Henry Bernard Mitchell, and John Stafford, and numerous grandchildren. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 12:30pm at Restland Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel, in Dallas.
