Dale George Rude's Obituary
Dale George Rude was born on 6/6/38 in Jackson, MI to Lloyd and Gertrude Rude and died on 7/30/2020 in Plano, TX. He graduated from Jackson High School June 1956; served in the US Navy from 1956-1964; graduated Tri-State College, Angola, IN Aug. 1968 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He worked at Texas Instruments from Oct. 1964 to Jan. 1991. After retirement he joined the Big D Chorus and was elected Barbershopper of the Year 2007. He was instrumental in forming the Plano New Horizons Band. He enjoyed playing the trumpet and euphonium and arranging music on his computer. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Wendell, sister Leila and daughter Pamela. Survivors include wife Mary Donna, children Neal, Sheri, Rick, Jennifer and Bryan, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Restland on Wednesday, August 5th at 9:00 AM.
