Dan Ray Jones' Obituary
JONES, DAN RAY Born February 17, 1931 in Hopkins County, Texas. He left this world to be in the arms of his loving savior Jesus Christ on January 17, 2008 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Allie Lee Jones; brothers-in-laws, Lyndall Biggs, and Bob Saunders. Survived by his wife, Mary (Annie) Jones; sister, Marilyn Scudder; sister, Betty Biggs; sister-in-law, Margie Saunders; two nephews, Mark Scudder and Jason Biggs; two nieces, Pamela McCarty, Mary Lynn Saunders and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was in the U.S. Army from 1948-1952 and was a decorated Korean War Veteran. He worked for Greyhound Bus Lines for 31 years. He was a very loving husband, who was devoted to his family and always put others first. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 21, 2008 from 2:30 to 3:30 at Restland Wildwood Chapel, service will follow at 3:30.
