Dan C. Kincy, Jr., 88, of Rockwall, Texas died December 19, 2017 in Rockwall, Texas. He was born on November 24, 1929, to Dan C. Kincy, Sr. and Jessie Lee Jones Kincy in Dallas, Texas. He married Betty Merle Marcussen on December 12, 1952 in Dallas, Texas and worked for Southwestern Bell for 36 years. Dan was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and served in the Air Force from 1949 to 1952 as a communications specialist during the Korean War.He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Merle Kincy of Rockwall, daughters Dana Almquist, Nancy Kimbro, and Lisa Bonny as well as brothers Richard Kincy and Ronald Kincy. He was a loving and proud grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.His marriage to Betty was a constant and living example of selfless and unconditional love. Placing his faith in God above all else, Dan made sure his family always saw the love of God and his relationship with Jesus Christ in everything he did. He always looked for the opportunity to share his faith with others, and could be counted upon for loving and Christ-centered guidance. He loved his family above all else, and loved taking walks, playing hide and seek, doing homework at the kitchen table, and playing countless hours of games with the entire family. His love of life was evident in how much he dedicated himself to the strength of his family, and now lives on as they follow his example of what is most important in life. Of all his many lifelong accomplishments, he was most proud of his family and their faith in God.A memorial service and celebration of Dan C. Kincy, Jr. will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 10:00 am at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall, Texas.
