Dan Kent McCleskey, Jr. was born in Lubbock, Texas on July 26, 1955. He passed away on March 29, 2021.
A master of his craft and an accomplished woodworker.
He was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important-the simplicity of living, the value of taking pride in his work, and a quality life with those he loved.
A devoted father and papa he is survived by his three children Chrissie, Candie and Corey. His grandchildren were the center of his world, Tristan, Daniel, Dahlia, Brynn, Eli and Dean. He is also survived by Harley his macaw for 30 years.
This wonderful man will always be remembered for his pocket t-shirts, cookies, endless stories and sarcastic humor. He loved helping others and was always smiling and making jokes. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he was a part of.
There will be a celebration of life at Restland Funeral Home.
