Danah was one of the sweetest, kindness friends we had during our Preston Road Church of Christ days. I don't recall her ever saying anything negative. She was a beautiful example of Christ. Angels must have heralded her home to God with joy. She will always be remembered. God comfort her family.
My condolences to Danah's beautiful family and many other wonderful friends. May the Holy Spirit embrace and comfort you during this passage of time. One of my many fond memories is the following. Danah and I spent a number of years together as college roommates and the first few years as roommates as we started our careers. When seen together in public, we inevitably caught the flirtatious attention from handsome men. We both declared that we didn’t receive this attention unless we were seen together. Giddily, we would recount these experiences when we many times again received these flirts in public when we enjoyed our reunions over the years.
I am so sorry to hear the news of Danah’s passing. She was a wonderful soul, who lived her faith and had a constant smile that made her an instant friend to everyone she met. She loved being a teacher and worked enthusiastically to make her students feel cared for and welcomed. When we visited her at er home, she was quick to bring out a game of uno, and my sister and I would listen to her tell stories and it was uplifting to share time with her. We all loved Danah and we are going to miss her. Condolences to her sister and extended family. She was a gem.
