Dan, Steely Dan as we knew him always kept us interested and sometime laughing with his stories of him growing up in New York City. In those early days of PC?s he was always working on his (upgrades and such) and enjoyed it. If he was helping you, many times you?d get a ?Format C? from him in a gruff voice and a grin. Marc
I was fortunate to be able to work with Dan as a technician in Dallas right after he moved down to Texas from NYC. The big/gruf "New Yorker" put the AP membership on alert, but they soon learned he was the very best, biggest and loveable teddy bear who would do anything to help everyone, anywhere and anytime. I certainly miss knowing that he is not here to bless so many people and family around him.

P P Dan's voice messages to Grandma Hazel. "Haze……..Haze……..you there? Pick up. Haze……Haze." He got a kick out of my impersonation of him doing that. We all miss him dearly. He was a great man.
