Daniel Francis Landry's Obituary
Dan Landry 1950-2016 Daniel Francis Landry left this world unexpectedly on December 5th at the age of 66. Dan was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olide Joseph Landry and Ethel Grob Landry. He graduated from LSU with a BS & MBA degrees in Management, served in the Louisiana Air National Guard, and went on to have a successful career in sales in the Computer/Telecommunications industry. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Andrea; his sons, Christopher and Dayton; his daughter and her husband, Melissa and Jeff Stringer; and his granddaughter, Landry Olivia Stringer, his namesake. He is also survived by his four older brothers and their families: Larry, Nelson, Harold, and Gerald. A celebration of Dan’s life will be held on Saturday, December 10th at Richardson East Church of Christ at 11:30 am, with a visitation beginning at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider a contribution in Dan’s name to the Richardson East Church of Christ CARE Corps food pantry, which was Dan’s ministry.
