Daniel J. Marder's Obituary
Daniel Joseph Marder, 91, of Dallas, Texas, died on August 12, 2019, in Mesquite, Texas.He was born on September 21, 1927 in Dallas to Adolph and Katherine Marder. Daniel served his country in the United States Navy, United States Army and the United States Merchant Marine. He also served his city in the Dallas Police Reserve, attaining the rank of Lieutenant, and served his county as a Patrol Officer in the Dallas Sheriff’s Reserve. Professionally, Daniel was a cable repairman for over thirty years with Southwestern Bell. He was a Mason, 32nd-degree Scottish Rite, York Rite and a Shriner.Daniel is survived by: his son, Daniel Joseph Marder, II, of Frisco; his daughter, Deborah Marder Gray of Plano, Texas; his granddaughter, Magan Marder Brown of Lubbock, Texas; and close family friends Richard Simpson and Stanley Hilton. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 11:00AM in the Field of Honor at Restland Memorial Park.
