Darlene Diggs' Obituary
DIGGS, DARLENE born July 21, 1934 in Lamesa, TX and passed away November 18, 2013 in Plano, TX. She is preceded in death by parents, Llano and Laura Teague; daughter, Darla Hollingshead; two sisters and a brother. Darlene is survived by husband, Elmer Diggs; sons, Mark Diggs and Paul Diggs; son in-law, Terry Hollingshead; three grandchildren, Sterling Myers, Windsar Hollingshead and Lauren Diggs. Darlene was married to Elmer Diggs for 57 years. Darlene’s main goal in life was to care for her family. She was happiest after cooking a meal for her family and watching them enjoy it. Darlene was a fine Christian lady and was a member of First Baptist Church of Plano for many years. She had many loyal friends and though she was homebound, she enjoyed talking with them by phone. She loved living in Plano and had no desire to live any where else. Darlene’s pride and joy was her three granddaughters and she was very devoted to them. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church Plano, TX.
