Darrell Finley Doss' Obituary
Darrell Finley Doss, 91, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on October 8, 2025.
He was born on January 4, 1934, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to William Harvey Doss and Verleine Chancelor.
Darrell married Patricia Jean Murphy Doss, and together they shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and dedication to family.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose warmth and steady presence touched the lives of all who knew him. Darrell had a love for the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting deer and doves, camping, and spending time surrounded by nature. These simple pleasures brought him joy and peace throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Verleine Doss, and two sisters.
Darrell is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; daughter, Daria McNabb and husband, Pete; daughter, Julie; grandchildren, Reagan and Austin and his wife Sarah; and great-grandchildren Alice and Stacy.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas, under the direction of Restland Funeral Home.
