Darren Q Weatherford's Obituary
Born 13 July 1964 in Dallas, Texas passed into the arms of the Lord on August 19, 2009 after a long illness. He was a devout Christian and attended St. Marks School and Trinity Christian Academy. Darren attended SMU and then received his diploma from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. Darren wrote, produced and directed a successful play at the Hennepin Theatre in Minneapolis. He then lived in Santa Monica where he wrote, produced and directed several other plays receiving distinguished recognition. Later, he returned to Dallas and established his own construction company. Darren is preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Weatherford and is survived by his father, Dr. Wilson Weatherford, and two brothers, Charles Christian Weatherford and Kevin Wilson Weatherford. Darren will be missed by many friends and family. Visitation Friday, August 21, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Restland Funeral Home on Greenville Avenue. Services Saturday, 12:30 p.m., Wildwood Chapel, Restland.
