Many of my most fond childhood memories are of the times my family and I spent with the Fendleys, Darwin, Novella, Carol, Ray and Mary Lou. Darwin and Novella were lifelong friends of my parents and shared many of the same interests and passions. We spent many summer vacations together traveling around the country in our travel trailers, exploring the beauty of nature, playing games, fishing, dancing. Great times and wonderful memories that will be with me forever. Mr Fendley, you have been a true inspiration, mentor and loving friend. In my young days I observed your self-discipline, wisdom and dedication… I learned from you and I considered you a second father. You will always have my utmost respect and admiration because of those early formative years that you were in my life. I know in my heart that my parents will be waiting with open arms to welcome you into God?s kingdom. Love and prayers for all who loved Mr Fendley. May we all find peace knowing he will always be in our hearts and souls. Ted Matthews
