Dausie Mae Baker, 94, of Hunt County, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, in Greenville, Texas. She was born on Monday, March 9, 1925, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Sam Stapleton and Margaret Elizabeth Hallmark Stapleton in Quinlan, Texas. She married Herman Baker. Dausie was preceded in death by her husband; Herman Baker, her daughter; Shirley Ann Stratton Robertson, her father; Sam Stapleton, her mother; Maggie Hallmark Stapleton, her sister Mildred Glass (Ivant), her brothers; John Stapleton (Dorothy) and Robert Stapleton, and her sister; Francis Copenger and Beacher Copenger. She is survived by her granddaughter; Lori A. Acker (Larry Acker) of Houston, Texas, grandson; Ben A. Robertson (Jane E. Robertson) of Greenville, Texas, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 great-step-granddaughters, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many other family members and ones.A visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m in Restland Funeral Home.
