David Henry Aubel was born August 20, 1951 in Dallas, Texas to Hilmar Fred and Doris Irene (Hosman) Aubel. He passed away on March 19, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. He was 66 years of age.He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Dottie Calk Aubel of Fairview, Texas; his son, Eric Aubel and wife Jamilyn of Fairview, Texas; his eldest daughter, Kristin Aubel Topletz of Portland, Oregon; youngest daughter, Laura Paul and husband Ian of Richardson, Texas; grandchildren, Makenzie, Braxton, and Kailyn Aubel of Fairview, Texas; one sister, Donna Aubel of Lakenheath, England; and numerous other extended family and friends.A service in his honor will take place at 10:00 am, Friday, March 23, 2018 at Restland Memorial Park in the Wildwood Chapel with Rev. George Topper officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in the Oaklawn Estates. Braxton Aubel (grandson), Eric Aubel (son), Jaiy Braulick (cousin), Ian Paul (son-in-law), Laura Paul (daughter), and Kristin Aubel Topletz (daughter) will serve as pallbearers.Arrangements are under the care of Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
