David Baxter Cozby's Obituary
Born April 6, 1926 in Peniel, TX and passed away January 6, 2017 in Bedford, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Adalene Cozby; sisters,Zuma, Muriel, Miriam, Melba, Lee; son, Dale Eugene Cozby and both parents. He is survived by son, David Wayne Cozby; daughters, Darla Beckley, Marilyn Spence; grandchildren: Jennifer, Kristin, James E., Allyson, Melanie, Cameron, James D., David R., Daniel, Sterling; great grandkids, Zachary, Adalene, and Davis. David was active in the Nazarene Church and was a U.S. Navy World War II Veteran, Special Forces. He was also a coach and elementary school principal for 40 years in the Dallas Independent School District and in New Mexico. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10 AM at North Dallas Nazarene Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
