David Lowell Davis' Obituary
DAVIS, DAVID LOWELL, the man with a quick smile and a ready handshake, was born April 4, 1934 in Chickasha, Oklahoma and passed away October 3, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. David was a devoted husband, loving and nurturing father, proud and doting Papaw, loving uncle, and friend to everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 57 years Claudette Davis, his brother Paul Wayne Davis, and sister Patricia Stein. Dave is survived by his daughter Michelle Bogard, his grandson Bart Bogard, his brother in law, sister in law, two nephews, three nieces, and eight great nieces. Join us in the celebration of a life well lived through a visitation from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Restland Memorial Park followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Dave’s love of his dogs, the family requests donations to the SPCA.
