David Wesley Failor's Obituary
David Wesley Failor, 32, of Dallas, Texas went to be with Jesus in the early morning hours of Sunday, Februrary 2nd, 2020 in a very unfortunate fishing accident.
Born December 23, 1987 in Dallas, Texas to Sue and Dan Failor at Medical City Dallas. David will be most remembered by his big heart and immense love for his family and friends. He loved to serve others and would do anything to comfort those in need. He had an infectious smile and life with David was always full of laughter. For those that knew him, he will be greatly missed and life without him will just never be the same.
David had put his full faith in God and Jesus Christ. He expressed to everyone how God had healed him through the toughest part of his life. He had made the choice to commit his life fully to Jesus and was given the courage to take the necessary steps for recovery.
God had blessed him greatly in the time to follow, by giving him the family he always wanted and a great relationship with his brother Derek. He became a stepfather to two beautiful little girls. He became fully invested in their lives and treated them as if they were his own. He truly loved Katherine and the girls and they were expecting their third daughter in July. We are holding on to the fact that he had told his mother he was the happiest he has ever been.
He was a server at Pappas Delta Blues for 1 year. He was a member of Watermark Church.
He is survived by fiance Katherine Handrigan, step daughters Irie Jane, Autumn Fae, expected daughter July 2020, brothers Derek Failor, Dallas, Texas, Charles Traegar, Minneapolis, MN, parents Sue & Dan Failor, grandparent Arlen Nicholls, Don & Sheri Baum.
He was preceded in death by daughter Kendall Lee Failor.
We would like to express how grateful we are for the tremendous outpouring of love and support we have received in the wake of this dark and devastating time. We find comfort in their faith in Christ and knowing that God will bring a peace beyond all understanding. We just know his smile is shining down on us from Heaven.
