David Hodge's Obituary
Dave Hodge of Kaufman, TX was born March 10,1922 in Elk Park, North Carolina. He joined the US Army and was stationed at Camp Van Dorn in Centreville, Mississippi. There he met and married Ruby Dell Bates. Together they had three children and moved their family to Dallas, Texas in 1960 where he began his long career with Pollock Paper Company as a package engineer, often traveling across the United States. In 1983, they moved to Flint, Texas on Lake Palestine and enjoyed retirement. Dave and Ruby were married 54 years until she went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2002. He leaves behind a son, David C. Hodge and wife Teresa of Mullin, TX, and two daughters, Debra K. Craft and husband Kyle of Kaufman, TX and Ruby Delaine Warren of Kaufman, TX. Grandchildren: Darren Hodge, Ashley Neal, Shane Rainer, Rhoda Hall, Bradley Craft, Jack Hodge, Stacia Craft, and Courtney Craft. Great-grandchildren: Katelyn Neal, Maliah Patterson, Alyssa Baugh, Jony Hodge, Julian Santoyo-Craft, Joshua Craft, and Kiley Boyd.
