David Arthur Landis' Obituary
LANDIS, DAVID Born July 6, 1938 in Shanksville, PA and lost his battle with Leukemia on June 24, 2008 in Houston, TX. David proudly served in the US Marines Corps. He was an avid boater and loved to work with his hands, especially restoring boats. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Marian Landis; son, Michael Landis and wife, Susan; daughters, Shelley Rogers, Laurie Sargeant and husband David; grandchildren, Philip Sargeant, Elizabeth Harris, Brian Rogers and Rachel Landis; sister, Alice Craft, brother-in-law, Brian Tadlock and wife Tammy; niece, Lexi Tadlock and nephews, Brandon Tadlock and Steven and Shawn Craft. Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Friday, June 27, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held 3:30 PM, Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
