David Jay Mayo's Obituary
David Jay Mayo was born on March 29, 1969 in Dallas, TX and passed away on April 19, 2015 as a result of a tragic car accident on the way to work at DFW airport. David graduated from RL Turner High School in 1987 and The University of Texas at Dallas where he was a member of the SAE fraternity. He loved music and his number one priority was his family and his church where he was a Deacon. David was an officer for the US Customs and Border Protection. David is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Mayo. He is survived by his wife Misti; daughters, Sadie and Sydney; mother, Angie and his beloved dog, Trooper, along with many special family and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A Home going Celebration Service will be held on Friday, April 24 at 2:00 PM at Lewisville Church of Christ 901 College Parkway, Lewisville, TX 75077. Following the service there will be an interment at Restland Memorial Park led by the officers of US Customs and Border Protection. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mayo Memorial Fund through the Lewisville Church of Christ.
