David Lloyd Mellett's Obituary
Mellett, David Lloyd born February 23, 1921 in Rushville, Indiana died March 8, 2011. Survivors include wife Doris of Floydada, TX; sons Bill, John and wife Susie of Dallas; one grandchild Julianne of Dallas; daughter Laura Peterson and husband David of Lochry, TX. He is preceded in death by his sister Marcia Campbell and his son Charles. He was a member of St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church as an elder, adult Sunday school teacher, and choir member. He worked in the auto industry for 40 years. He was a 1947 graduate of New York University and also attended SMU and TCU. He was in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
