David Ray Mezzell, 69 of Point, Texas passed away on July 20, 2018, in Point, Texas. He was born to Wayne Mezzell and Virgie Mezzell in Dallas, Texas. He is survived by his girlfriend, Susie Cates of Point, Texas; daughter Tammy and husband, Peter Pallitto of Lewisville, Texas; son, Jack Mezzell of Lewisville, Texas; sisters, Gennette and husband, Herman Shields of Rockwall, Texas and Helen West of Fate, Texas; brother, Jerry and wife , Sharon Mezzell of Point, Texas; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Grandchildren, Ashlee and husband, Jeremy Yarrington, Krista and husband, Jake Teague, Joey Pallitto and Sarah Mezzell; great-grandchildren, Caiden, Lance with a great-granddaughter on the way Rylee Nicole. He loved his two dogs, Jake and Lucy. He also loved going fishing and hunting. The family will receive guests on Thursday, July 26, 2018, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A graveside to celebrate David’s life will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018, at 10:00 AM in the garden of Love at Restland Memorial park
