David Jerome Nabasny's Obituary
David Jerome Nabasny, age 68, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. He was born on February 19, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Michael Nabasny and Rita (Davis) Nabasny. He was a devoted husband, father, and brother who deeply loved his family and friends.
David is survived by his children, Andrew and Caitlee Nabasny of Plano, Texas; his brother, Richard Nabasny and wife, Debbie, of Yardley, Pennsylvania; his brother, Robert Nabasny of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; his sister, Dolores Lizak and husband, Chuck, of Ponte Verde, Florida; his brother, William Nabasny of Schaumburg, Illinois; and his brother- and sister-in-law, Chris and Jeri Peasner, of Plano, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children. He was preceded in death by wife, Stacy Peasner Nabasny; his parents, Michael and Rita Nabasny; and his siblings, Michael Nabasny and Rosemary D’Andrea.
David married Stacy in Plano, Texas on November 26, 1988, and was a strong husband and father that lived each day to provide and protect those he loved most. He worked at QC Graphics for over 30 years, serving as the President for more than a decade. He was passionate about his work, and cared deeply for his employees and colleagues, whom he saw as an extension of his family. For the past several years, David found peace, joy, and comfort in his home in Florida and cherished the times when his family would visit and fill his house with laughter.
David’s family will host a service on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 2pm. The service will be held at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Stacy Nabasny Education Endowment at https://engagehope.kindful.com.
