David Edison Neal was born July 21, 1928 in Dallas, Texas and passed away September 18, 2016 in Mt. Vernon, Texas. David was preceded in death by: 5 brothers; 4 sisters; daughter, Kath Parr. He is survived by: wife, Grace Neal, daughters, Debbie Odom and husband Joe of Mt. Vernon, TX, Lucy Rogers and husband Michael of Ferris, TX and Cindy Thomas and husband Paul of Mt. Vernon, TX; son-in-law, Richard Parr of Garland, TX;15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He was the last of his siblings to pass. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, September 23, 2016 at Restland Abbey Chapel.
