Sgt. David Louis Walker's Obituary
David attended Bethune High School in Crane,Texas where he graduated as Valedictorian class of 1962. He went on to attend North Texas State University. He then pursued other careers and decided to have his own business but there was always something that he wanted to do even more which was law enforcement.
He became employed with the City of Dallas. December 29,1976 where he went on to serve in law enforcement in many capacities. During his tenure he joined the Dallas City Marshal’s Office where he became Sergeant Walker. He later was assigned to the Illegal Dump Team where he worked with the Code Enforcement Department he loved his job and worked diligently to get things into perspective.
He received numerous awards during his tenure with the City Of Dallas. Sergeant David Walker honorably retired with 37 years of service.
The Homegoing Celebration will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday October 13, 2022, at the Memorial Chapel of Restland Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, Freedom Garden.
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday October 12 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home.
