Birth date: Dec 22, 1968 Death date: Nov 23, 2018
When my boys were little, every night from the time they could talk, they asked me if their daddy was going to be home tomorrow. And I always said, yes. Or maybe, no, he’ll be at work. And I often wondered if they asked that becau Read Obituary
Kristi you and your family are in our prayers. David was a wonderful man.
This obituary was so moving, sending prayers to your entire family.
My heart has been so heavy just knowing what a huge loss this is for your family. He sounds like an amazing man to have around. I know you do so much for your boys and the schools they have been in. Praying for you and your boys and his family as you all look towards the future. I know it won’t be easy, but praying for comfort and support in the days ahead.
Yet another one of the good guys, gone way too soon. In all of my encounters with David he was kind, affable, genuine, and just fun to be around. He loved his boys and his wife, and they loved and admired the man he was. You can tell a lot about the quality of a man by observing his children, and all 3 of his boys are fine young men that any father would be proud of. Those who didn’t have the opportunity to know him were unfortunate. Please say a prayer for peace and understanding for his family during this difficult time and beyond. Godspeed David, may you rest in peace.
My heart has hurt for your family since learning of Dave’s passing. Prayers for peace and comfort have been constant and will continue to be so.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a more beautifully written obituary. I knew David in high school and loved getting back in touch with him over the last decade. He was a beautiful soul back then, and I’m so happy to see that his life turned out so full. My love goes out to the family and friends.
Dear Kristi, as I read your lovely tribute to David with tears in my eyes, I was so glad to see that you have a large extended family as well as friends, his collegues and fellow fire wives to support you during this difficult time. It seems he lived an exemplary life, and I know you must be so proud of him. I wish I had met him. His loss leaves his family, collegues and community with a huge hollow in their lives. He looks so strong and vital in his picture that it’s hard to comprehend that he was taken at such a young age.
I have missed seeing you at Aqua Zumba at the CVC the past few months, and I hope that when you’re ready to return to work, you’ll be able to continue to do what you love. My most sincere condolences and best wishes, Terry Brewer.
