David Eric Woulfe's Obituary
David Eric Woulfe, beloved husband, father, brother, son, and friend was called home, to rest, on April 21, 2025, at the age of 50. He passed away peacefully surrounded by love, with his wife and family by his side.
Dave was born November 20th, 1974, to Patrick and Mary Lou Woulfe in Aurora, Illinois. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Human Resource Management. He met Allison Boeving at North Junior High in Richardson, and they began dating while at JJ Pearce High School. They were married on October 23rd, 1999 in Richardson, Texas.
Dave was well known for his huge personality, his constant encouragement of others, his ability to make others laugh and his genuine friendship that he offered far and wide. Dave was a fan of all sports, and spent some of his happiest days watching his kids play their favorite sports. Dave found his calling in human resources. His coworkers loved his honesty and genuine compassion. He was able to express his compassion for others by leading the committee for the St. Barnabas Health Fair. He loved working with his church family to put on this amazing event each year. Dave’s many friends from every era of his life enjoyed his humor and how he was always ready for a good time.
Dave is survived by his wife, Allison Woulfe; son William Woulfe; daughter Samantha Woulfe; mother Mary Lou Woulfe; step dad Larry Pickett; step mom Kay Woulfe; sister, Carole Elwell; mother-in-law Carol Boeving; brother-in-law Doug Boeving and wife Susan; sister-in-law Angela Mabrey and husband Jeff; nephews, Chase Elwell, Chance Elwell, Jonathan Woulfe, Zachary Boeving, Richard Mabrey, niece Alyssa Boeving and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family whom he loved dearly.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Woulfe; brother, Daniel Woulfe; and father-in-law Richard Boeving.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. C.D.T. at St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church in Richardson, TX.
In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe memorial scholarship fund has been created to honor Dave’s wishes for his children’s higher education. Please also consider donating to the St. Barnabas Outreach Fund to support Dave’s work with the St. Barnabas Health Fair. The family has also requested written stories or memories of Dave that William and Samantha will cherish over the many years to come.
