Dawn Marie Ferguson's Obituary
Dawn Marie Ferguson went peacefully to be with the Lord on December 1, 2017, in Dallas, TX. due to complications following lung cancer. She was 58.Ms. Ferguson was born on August 15, 1959, in Shreveport, La to her parents Paul and Fannie Ferguson. Dawn was a graduate of Bryan Adams High School, DISD in the class of 1977. She was a member of Girl Scouts GSNTX. She was an avid reader and Nicholas Sparks was her favorite author. She enjoyed family gatherings and adored her nieces and nephews, never missing a birthday. She loved supporting her local Dallas, TX. sports teams. She worked in the food service industry for over 20+ years. She was loved and cherished by the many customers whom she saw each week. She had a big heart for family and close friends and she ended every phone call and encounter with I Love You.Ms. Ferguson is survived by her parents Paul and Fannie Ferguson of Dallas, Tx; her brothers Gregory P. Ferguson of Dallas, Tx; Brent and spouse Shirley of Frisco, Tx; Jeffery and spouse Jung-Hee of Haltom City, Tx; her sister Melody and spouse Robert of Wylie, Tx. Her nieces and nephews Nicole, Jacob, Cameron, Shiley, Kendall, Leanna, Mary, Hayden and her fur nephew Ace. As well as Aunts and Uncles and many cousins residing in Louisiana, California, and Texas. Her longtime boyfriend Alex Back of Crandall, Tx.A visitation will be taking place on Monday, December 4, 2017, from 6:00 pm — 8:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at 3:00 pm at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Preacher Ernest Walt will be officiating Dawn’s celebration of life.The Pallbearers will be her brothers Gregory, Brent, Jeffery, and her nephews Jacob, Cameron, and Hayden. Interment will be at the Restland Cemetery, Dallas, Tx.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
