Dean Baxter, 84, of Pottsboro, Texas passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020, in Denison, Texas. He was born on November 21, 1935, to his loving and thoughtful parents Olis Dell and Vida Louise Baxter in Bells, Texas. He married Helen Jackson on June 23, 1956 in Sherman, Texas. He was a draftsman for Texas Instruments for 35 years. He was a member of Pottsboro Church of Christ. Dean served in the United States Army from September 9, 1958 to September 8, 1960 as a Specialist Fourth Class. He is survived by his wife Helen Baxter of Pottsboro, Texas, his daughters D'awn Carson (Alan Carson) of Lucas, Texas, and Michelle Baxter of Allen, Texas, his son-in-law John Bell of Lucas, Texas, his grandchildren Evan Carson (Rachel), Drew Carson (Lindsey)Trey Carson (Madeline), Karen Bell, Grace Bell, Michael Bell, Faith Bell, great grandsons Barrett and Everett.
