Dean Clinton Richardson's Obituary
Richardson, Commander Dean Clinton, USN (RET)- of Richardson Texas, born in Dallas, Texas on February 16, 1924, passed away 09-25-2009.Dean retired as a Naval Aviator after 25 years of dedicated service to his country. After a long and successful career at Texas Instruments he again retired & had a successful consulting career, until he finally retired in 2005. Dean was an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, the North Texas Austin Healy Club, the Quiet Birdmen, The Happy Warriors, and continued to serve the public for many years as the volunteer coordinator for the Canyon Creek Crime Watch Program. He continued to love to fly airplanes and water ski until the very end, however, his greatest pride and joy, was his family. He is survived by his wife, Joanne, sons-Dean & Michael Richardson, Captain Bruce Stewart, USN & wife Commander Terri Stewart, USN, (RET); daughters-Lucy Stewart and Dianne Wilterding & husband Hershell Williams; grandsons-Chris, Blake, Danny, Drew, Connor, & Joey; granddaughter Katie; Sister Ann Williams & family, and German Shepard’s Wolfgang & Pretty Girl. Memorial Services will be held September 29, 2009 @ 10:00 AM at Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, 14115 Hillcrest Road (NW corner of Spring Valley and Hillcrest Roads).
