Deborah Lee Klepp's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah Lee Klepp, who went home to be with her Lord on November 26, 2025. Deborah loved the Lord with all of her heart, and we take great comfort in knowing that she is now whole and in the presence of her Heavenly Father.
Deborah was one of the most giving and loving souls. She was a caring daughter, loyal friend, compassionate nurse, devoted older sister, Godly mother, cherished Pastor’s wife, and adoring Mimi. To know Deborah was to be deeply loved.
She devoted her life fully to the Lord and walked each day in steadfast faith. We know she is now reunited in heaven with those whose lives she touched so profoundly. Deborah had a special love for nature, found endless energy in decorating (including her constant furniture rearranging), delighted in painting, and never met an animal she didn’t want to spoil. Music was a beautiful part of Deborah’s life. She loved playing the piano and singing, especially hymns and worship songs. Deborah loved to laugh and found humor even in the toughest of situations.
Even when she was battling her own sickness or going through other struggles in life such as Hurricane Andrew, Deborah always thought of everyone else. Many lovingly referred to her as an “angel” and this could be seen in her care for others.
Though our hearts ache, we rejoice knowing she is at peace and wrapped in the everlasting arms of her Savior. As Psalm 55:6 reminds us, “Oh, that I had wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.” Deborah now rests in that perfect peace.
Her love, her faith, and her beautiful spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give in her honor to Upper Room Assembly of God.
