Mrs. Deborah Lynn Lilljedahl's Obituary
Mrs. Deborah Lynn Lilljedahl, age 69, passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday evening, July 7, 2020 at her residence. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who was affectionately known as “Dusty” and “Mimi.” She was born on September 10, 1950 in Dallas County, a daughter of the late Bill and Margaret Akers. Despite her large family, she always made time for everyone and provided unconditional love and support for her family.
Dusty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, Carroll Lilljedahl, and her eldest son, Jimmy Dale Nevins, Jr.
She was a member of the Women’s Group Bible Study of The Hills Church, CenterPoint Church and a retired financial businesswoman. She was also a loved neighbor of Meadowridge Court. She enjoyed yard work, watching family play golf and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Dusty is survived by 3 sons, Christopher and Amy Nevins of The Colony; Shawn Railey of North Richland Hills; Brett and Megan Lilljedahl of Krum; 2 step children, Jeff and Bazie Lilljedahl of Paradise; Kelly and Reid Jinks of Shepherd; 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Rusty and Laurie Akers of Willis Point; Bill and Tammie Akers of Houston; Dale and Vickie Akers of Springtown; Sandy and Jerry Adams of Keller; Beverly Dankel of Newark; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at The Hills Church in North Richland Hills on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 9:00 - 11:00am. An intimate gathering of family and friends will be held July 24, 2020 at 9:30 AM for her burial at Restland Funeral Home.
